I Got Sick And My Health Insurance For Individuals Rescued Me
Monday, May 16th, 2011Sometimes, you know I ain’t even sick or anything before walking into the hospital these days. I don’t know who, but someone pays all of my medical bills anytime I get treated, and all I feel of it is a certain small fee taken from my salary every month. I never even feel it. That’s the beauty of having the company where you work or the government take care of your health through a health insurance agency.
Never miss out on the premium for any of the insurance policies that you hold. Especially for health where you know that your life might be at risk, you cannot trifle with it. If you missed your premium by a single day, you could nullify the whole of your health insurance for individuals policy, and then you’ll have to pay the hospital bills yourself.
You cannot always eat your cake and have it. There are times when you will not be ill for whole months or years at a stretch. Times like this the premium you have paid for your health insurance is… er… gone. But if you were suddenly to take ill, or say you had an accident, you’d suddenly appreciate every cent you have spent on the policy from the starts.
The company I work for obviously has no idea how much they pay the hospital for my monthly medicals. I mean, I am in the hospital every other week, and yet the firm insists on covering everything. It must be this health insurance thing that they do, deducing stuff from my wages monthly. Well, I suppose it‘s nice; they don’t deduct that much from my salary, so I’m ok with it.
While many people understand the importance of being insured, not everyone has the privilege of being insured by his/her company. Luckily one can still find some competitive health insurance for individuals policies simply by looking on the net for sites that provide online quotes. Here I would suggest that once looks in depth at the conditions of the policy, as the companies selling the cheapest health insurance policies might not be very reputable ones.
Sincerely, I see the benefits of health insurance, but I must admit that I never would have gone for it if my firm had not insisted on covering me for it by deducting certain amounts from my salary monthly. You know what; I don’t ever have to pay a cent for any medical treatment. I just walk into the hospital and walk out treated anytime I feel like it.
