Say Cheese: Dental Benefits

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

Dental insurance is often an afterthought when obtaining health insurance for a number of reasons. Some people may simply dislike the dentist and use the lack of dental insurance as a reason to not visit the dentist; others may feel that dental insurance is not worth the added cost to their monthly health insurance premium. Still others may simply feel that their teeth are in good shape and there is little need to spend the extra money to cover a part of their body that does not currently have any problems. Nevertheless, dental insurance is important because of several benefits.

When people think of the cost of dental work or procedures, they often think of costly bills. Even simple procedures like getting your wisdom teeth removed can average in the hundreds of dollars per tooth! However, one obvious benefit to dental insurance is the coverage of simple but costly dental procedures such as getting a tooth removed. In the end, the slight increase in a monthly premium may be worth it to avoid a high dental bill. Moreover, dental insurance also helps financially if a dental emergency develops. Perhaps you are in need of a root canal or dental implants - both extremely costly procedures that you often do not anticipate. Dental insurance will most likely cover a portion, if not all of these expensive procedures.

Also, while many feel that brushing and flossing daily is all the dental care they need this is simply not true – even for young, healthy adults. Dental disease is common and can affect your body in a number of ways. For instance, some dental diseases left untreated can lead to more serious medical issues such as kidney infections or even diabetes. Most people do now know of the connection between dental diseases and other illnesses. Thus, having dental insurance that covers routine visits to the dentist, which can help uncover dental diseases early, is extremely important. Dental insurance is designed to encourage preventative care, because spotting dental diseases or dental problems early reduces the overall cost of treatment.

Dental insurance may seem like just another gimmick to get a few more dollars out of you, but it is essential for your health. Your regular health insurance plan, whether it is through your employer as a group plan or an individual plan, should offer you the option of buying dental insurance coverage, and you should consider this piece of the plan thoroughly when purchasing health insurance.

Dental Plan

Do you have cavities or other dental problems now?  I have heard the most root canals being performed lately than I have ever heard.Expensive whew.If you get in that dentist chair an didn’t ask the cost before hand, you lose.Everytime I hear of someone going to the dentist they come out with a list.Regrets are something I don’t want anyone to have.  I was one of those people and didn’t ask enough questions.Everyone in my family came out of the dentist office with a list.It got more and more expensive.Help is available if you need an dentist immediately. If you want to save your money look into dental benefits. See Dental Medical Insurance Pland

Two of my friends.Needing help immediately was so needed by their daughter.  She needed the dentist but couldn’t afford to go.Benefits were not an option, they was not in the budget.Student interns don’t make a lot of money so its hard to get anything done.  They don’t make any money. I can help anyone if they want to be helped.  It was a gratifying experience for me.Its not always that a person wants to be help.I could see that my clients were very happy. The couples daughter only paid 20 for the dentist.Only pocket change will come out of her pocket since she has benefits now.We have lots of success stories that are great to hear.My friends would of lossed several hundred dollars if they hadn’t of pruchased benefits.Claims forms can be a pain and it would make me cringe if I had them.I wished when I needed a dentist that I had guarantees on benefits.More than a hundred dollars was saved.

Did you know Ameriplan will cover dentistry? My teeth use to embarrass me.The past several years I didn’t have dental benefits and I would of gave anything to have them.  I use to hide.  People didn’t know how to relate tome.Smiling then wasn’t something that I wanted to do.Not smiling was very noticeable. I didn’t realize it until I started doing this business that there are a lot of people out here in the same boat.  They don’t smile because of embarrassing teeth. Its always good to put other people before yourself and help them. Its easy to show people the direction they need when there has been a lot of dental expense.Because of the high cost of dental I.A plan like this makes great sense because cosmetic procedures are included.  All companies are not like this.I use to be an insurance agent and this is the best I have seen. How do I know, ask and I will give you the answer!  Again I been there and done that.

You have nothing to lose?Signing up for a dental plan you don’t lose anything.  There’s the 30 day guarantee plus you get free prescription, chiropractic and vision.  Visit my site at Dental Medical

AmeriPlan Dental

No one should have to be their own dentist or be without any dental care plan . I’m 52 years old and this is my story. Two years ago I had an abcess tooth. I had no insurance and no job. I was experiencing extreme pain in the above the neck. To the point that I started having headaches because the infection had already spread to my right eye. My entire lower jaw area was very swollen. So I finally decided it was time to call the dentist and make that appointment.

The dental bill was to be $240 that I did not have to spare. This was just to have a tooth pulled. I was in agonizing pian and was not sure if I could wait the 5 days to see the Dentist. I did’nt even have the funds for the dental procedure, no credit cards and it was the middle of the month. So I sat there and cried in pain. I decided I was talented enough to pull my own tooth. I tied a string on it just like I used to do with my own children when they were little. I almost passed out after the first pull because of the incredible pain on the side of my face. I sobbed and sobbed. I held that string to my chest and prayed. Finally the Tooth was being eased out. At that point it came out without any pain. After a consultation with the Dentist I realized I had been in potentially fatal situation.

The Good Lord saved me that day so I may tell other people like me that you really don’t need to be your own dentist. A job like this should be left to professionals. Now I have my Ameri Dental Plan and I can actually see a real pro now. Thank God for Ameriplan.
