The US Health System- What Health System?
Obama has certainly got some work to do when it comes to the health system in the US, then again he is trying and this is saying something compared to what Bush did for America.
The US if far better than Britain in many ways like gadgets, food and economy but it would seem when it comes to important things like Education and Health care we are on top.
The problem is that the majority of companies out in America are not large ones so they cannot afford to pay out for everyones health benefits. Sure the bigger companies offer out business insurance as well as looking after themselves with office insurance, the average Joe is left in the dark.
While in the US health care with your company is a bonus over here in the UK if your company offer private health care then it is classed as a bonus, it is crazy to think that the US is just so far behind us when it comes to this and here in the UK you can even get something like salon insurance. It is also important to note that the US has the largest number of obese people in the world which of course leads to more heart attacks and other complications. These people need the insurance and medical care to make them lose the weight. Although it doesnt do too much here a health system could at least show people how what they are eating is not helping them at all.
